CoA 4th International Conference on Emerging Tourism (INCET 2027) for Architecture, Sustainability, Culture, Heritage and Tourism is jointly organized and hosted by BMS College of Architecture, Design and Planning (BMSCA D&P), Bengaluru. This prestigious event brings together architects, planners, academicians, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and students from across the globe to explore the future of tourism and how architecture, urban design and planning can shape the next generation of resilient tourism destinations.

Under the theme "Designing Tomorrow:Emerging Tourism", which entails innovative and resilient Architecture for Tourism, the conference foregrounds research that integrates climate-responsive design, digital transformation, heritage conservation, and regenerative planning within evolving tourism landscapes.

INCET 2027 encourages cross-disciplinary engagement across architecture, urbanism,tourism, environmental sciences, and public policy to develop evidence-informed strategies for sustainable destination development. Through dialogue on adaptive reuse, ecological resilience, inclusive spatial governance, and cultural stewardship, the conference aims to strengthen the role of the built environment in advancing sustainable tourism and future-ready human settlements.

Its evolving radial form signifies growth, transformation, and continuous progress, while reflecting the synergy between the Circular and the Orange Economy.

The transition from earthy brown to vibrant orange symbolizes the journey from natural and built heritage to creativity, innovation, and sustainable development, embodying tourism that creates lasting economic, cultural, and community value.

Council of Architecture (CoA)

The Council of Architecture (CoA) is a statutory body corporate constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972. The Council is charged with the responsibility to provide for standard registration of architects, standards of education, recognized qualifications, and standards of practice. It plays a pivotal role in shaping architectural education and research across India.
